Here at Leonardo Hotels we appreciate our teams and all of the hard work they do every day. Room to Reward is a small charity making a big impact in both the hospitality and voluntary sectors by recognising the inspirational volunteers who generously give their time to help others. We at Leonardo Hotels are very proud partners.
Some of our unsold and therefore unused hotel rooms are donated to Room to Reward to give deserving “Hidden Heroes” a well-earned break. Hidden Heroes are nominated by Room to Reward’s charity partners and can enjoy a stay at a destination of their choice. We have recently welcomed volunteers from the Irish Cancer Society, SIBS and the Rainbow Trust to Leonardo Hotels across the UK & Ireland.

We love giving back and doing our bit for the community. We hold yearly Charity Challenges where each of our hotels and head offices get involved. The Challenges we do change every year – we like to keep things exciting!
The most recent Challenge we held was the Leo Five Peaks Challenge in support of our charity partners Mind, SAMH, Inspire and Pieta. Each hotel and head office raised funds and donations in various ways including bake sales, selling pre-loved items and books, hikes, cycling and even one colleague attempting to travel from Galway to London without spending any money.










Alongside these group-wide initiatives, we also support our local communities. Our teams regularly donate toys to local children’s hospitals at Christmas and distribute food to local food banks.

We work with Jobcentre Plus in the UK and have partnerships with many social enterprises to lead the way in changing attitudes towards disability, and provide opportunities to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions are able to fulfil their potential at work. In Ireland, our Irish hotels’ work placement initiatives are arranged in partnership with the Irish charity Rehab.
